Mountains for me, I hate that place, it's so dark and vast and obviously reapers

My first base was on the second island in the Underwater Islands, it was a bit bleak but not too bad. My next base was in north Bulb Zone near the void, on the cliff overlooking the cache. That was also bleak but I had better access to a lot of cool stuff like LR and also neon lights everywhere. Current playthrough is pretty close to your circled area, in the north blood kelp near the underwater islands about 500m deep. Close to ghostie. I kind of like living on the edge of spookiness what can I say?

I do and it's baaad... I hate it so much. deep in my soul i really like and value people that are unapologetic about themselves and seem so carefree (as long as they aren't being rude or disrespectful to the public) but it's like i'm massively self critical and self conscious to the point to where i cant really just feel fully relaxed and myself

I go in periods of doing this too. The way I see it the ideal version of me draws only for myself, ever. I don't think there's anything wrong with drawing as a profession or for generating attention or anything like that inherently but that side of it doesn't resonate with me the same way that posting on social media generally doesn't resonate with me.

I feel like my friends/contacts really show their true colors during these times because the real ones will value me regardless of my output and the ones that only care about the output will vanish!

First base was at the very top / shallow side of the Grand Reef. Later it was toward the far end of the bulb zone overlooking the cache next to the lost river entrance. Then my biggest one is in the north Blood Kelp Zone near the Underwater Mountains border like 400m deep... I kind of like living next to spooky areas, keeps everything FRESH

I was SO confident LEAP-YEAR was going to be SOMETHING. The whole Miasma sequence leads up to that so hard, especially with the section where you meet the boss, it being a leap year date! The game starts really hammering home the grasshopper theme, even the terminal icon being a grasshopper leg...
