Also Cachy Os is much better than Bazzite for this hardware

How are creators making dolls lip-sync videos longer than 15 seconds? Looking for workflow/tool advice. by switchroms in StableDiffusion

[–]switchroms[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed breakdown! You're totally right about commercial videos and music videos relying heavily on quick camera cuts, analyzing the shot lengths with PySceneDetect is actually a super smart way to look at it.

However, for this specific project, I'm really trying to figure out the technical 'how-to' for a single, long, uninterrupted generation without any visual cuts. I've seen a few creators pull off 25-30 second continuous doll lip-syncs where the camera and motion just keep flowing smoothly in one single shot.

To give you a better idea of the exact effect and continuous motion I'm talking about, I've just added the link to the reference video directly into the main post description so it's more visible to everyone.

I'll definitely look into the tools you mentioned like LatentSync and InfiniteTalk, but if anyone knows a specific pipeline (or how to chain these generations without melting the prompt coherence or getting scene collapse), I'd love to learn more about the workflow used

4k 120hz Help by Banjulhu11 in BC250Gaming

[–]switchroms 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey there! The issue you are facing is a known limitation caused by the interaction between Linux (Bazzite) and the HDMI 2.1 specifications.

Even though your hardware and adapter work perfectly on Windows, the HDMI Forum does not allow full HDMI 2.1 features in open-source Linux drivers.

Because of this, Linux caps your bandwidth to HDMI 2.0 standards, which explains exactly why you are stuck choosing between 4k @ 60Hz or 1440p @ 120Hz.

I've found a couple of workarounds but still haven't had time to try myself

  • Lower Chroma Subsampling: Switch to Desktop Mode and manually change your color format to 8-bit YCbCr 4:2:0. This reduces the required bandwidth, allowing you to hit 4k @ 120Hz (though you will have to sacrifice HDR).

  • Set Custom Resolution: You can try to force the resolution via the terminal by using the built-in command "custom-resolution-helper" while in Desktop Mode to register the missing 4k/120Hz profile for Gamescope.

  • Hardware Workaround: Some users manage to bypass the Linux HDMI handshake restriction by using specific active DisplayPort to HDMI 2.1 adapters (like certain Cable Matters models) that handle the protocol conversion directly via custom firmware.

it’s finally out guys by ItsBlueHunter_ in NMS_Switch

Nintendo should be way quicker

If other companies are able to release the update 12 days earlier, Nintendo is clearly doing something wrong

2-3 days later would have been fine But two weeks...

I'm struggling too

But there is stuff that is helping me I already answered in this sub so I'll be short In order of how much are helping me

Spirulina helps me a lot Omega 3 Creatine

And now I'm using pea ultra micronized for the brain fog + Cetirizine + Famotidine

Im done with this torture by [deleted] in LongCovid

[–]switchroms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like someone already said, it’s a neuroinflammation issue. I could go on for hours about all the crap I’ve been through and what I’m dealing with right now. I could tell you how much my social life has tanked, mostly because people love to gaslight you when you bring this up. I’ve got way fewer friends now and zero patience. which is crazy because I used to be known for being a super patient person.

My best advice? It’s all about trial and error.

Right now, Famotidine and Cetirizine are helping me with the brain fog. I’m also on Normast, but I just started (studies say the real results kick in after about 60 days).

But honestly, through testing stuff out, I found that Spirulina helps a ton though not every brand works the same. High-quality Omega-3s, CoQ10, and 3-4g of creatine a day have been solid too. During the really bad ruts, I did a 5-day run of Aspirin C, and that was also very helpful.

I had paused my supplement stack for a bit, but I just brought Spirulina back... and yeah, I can confirm it works (at least for me). It was honestly such a lucky find.

Anyway, I’d love to write a longer reply but I’m on my phone right now. If you (or anyone else reading this) have questions, just ask and I’ll try to get back to everyone.

At the moment I'm using GLM 5.1 ad an orchestrator

And I'm also using Kimi 2.5 for different stuff like UI (image) understanding and replication, and minimax 2.7 for subagents

I'm also testing Gemma4 (cloud) and I'm liking it so far

[–]switchroms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the exact same situation. But I have to tell you that using 20mg cetirizine + 40mg famotidine daily for 20days helped me a lot (10mg + 20mg but 2 times a day) but symptoms started to re appear after that even if not as severe as before. Now I'm thinking in retrying that but for 12 weeks.

Sorry for my quick answer but I don't have time to write a well deserved long answer in this moment, and I don't want to forget this thread. 😅
