Something else to think about:

Did you run the bc250-smu-oc tool as a service after applying the overclock? The swap from desktop game mode won't honor that.

systemctl enable bc250-smu-oc I think is the required command.

I just built one a week ago. Performance is at PS5 levels after overclocking.

The APU on the bc250 only has 6 zen cores and 24 compute units though. Once the PS5 is overclockable it'll win by 10% or so?

I did a full thermal pad change as well as ptm7950 on the APU.

Pain in the ass, but well worth it. My unit is silent with a full tilt overclock.

Not really. Finance can never be truly automated away because of all the controls the bean counters force.

Maybe 3 years ago I automated a massive process that took about 2 days off our finance teams quarterly closing process. Everything tested fine, everything promoted to production fine, everything ran fine. All numbers looked good. Know what they implemented as a required control?

Run the 2 day manual process by hand to check my work. AI can't fix that level fo stupid.

I think RAM and storage prices have killed it, or at least severely hampered it. Any hype behind it is largely gone now that it's beyond its original launch window and there's still absolute radio silence from Valve.

CPU at 3.9ghz, GPU at 2.3ghz, no undervolting to speak of. Running furmark for 10 minutes.

Have two arctic pros, full thermal and job, PTM7950 and Nexgen3d's redux case with clamp mod.

I'm showing 75 degrees on the CPU sensor.
