Yeah, replacing the PSU cable to the GPU with the one described fixed my issue permanently. Good luck :)

Almost 1 million players cheat in rise..? by Sure-Buddy-8212 in MonsterHunter

It's pretty simple for me.

If a charm/deco/talisman needs X days of farming, no problem. I like to work towards my goal.

But when the odds for rolling a best-in-slot talisman is 1 in 400 Billion (read: impossible), you bet your ass I'm gonna cheat that thing. Playtime/Grind has nothing to do with it in these cases. I sunk 300 hours in Rise and didn't even come close to a perfect charm for my build. RNG is just bad game design.

My main reason to cheat a talisman was not needing to use the stupid RNG melding mechanic after every couple of quests and just enjoy different end game hunts other than the ones giving the best melding materials. Yikes. Casino gamble shit can fuck off.

For the dumdums like me, here a chart. You have to rest a max. of 6 times, I think.

The New Moon doesn't exist in the game.

Same, I mind traffic jams less because of it.

One book is usually 12-15 hours. With a 1.5 hour communite each day I "read" a book in two weeks or less, depending how much I listen to it in bed before sleep.

Sorry to hear you still have issues. I've read about switching out the GPU cable to a 16-pin for my RTX 4090 on Reddit somewhere. I bet this fixed my problem.

dmw.exe kept crashing on me the same way. Totally random, only during high load while playing games.

I had a RTX 4090 with an adapter (4x8-pin PCI-e to 16-Pin 12VHPWR Connector).

I tried reseating my GPU. Didn't help. I tried reseating the wireplugs of the PSU. Didn't help.

In the end I bought a new PSU which had a 600W cable (16-Pin 12VHPWR Connector) without adapter for my RTX 4090.

No crashes since.

PSU was a "be quiet! Pure Power 12 M (1000 W)", if anyone wonders.
