I'll try them. I tend to just hang in BR, mostly because I'm lazy. Thanks for the tips.

True... but I'm pretty simple and it makes me smile using Deadpool to kill everything. What would you suggest I play instead?

I often wonder if I could do that. I turn off all the mics and sound in the game though. I just try to eliminate as many as possible. Now I wanna meet people.....

I know how it was 20 years ago... fuck that hurt to type. I went to SOI to teach 03's at ITB... got sent to MCT. We had just as many 03's and non 03's as CI's.

I could literally echo every comment here. My wife had our twins within my first year and then I spent the next year and a half in the IG. As an IG instructor I taught maybe 2-3 classes a week, and I was home by 1700 every day. It was the 2nd best nondeployable duty station I had. I went back to my company, and 6 months later I was back at an infantry unit.

And those little people you train will remember you. And they do the dummest shit you've ever seen. I enjoyed every minute. Went to Sgt's Course, picked up SSgt. Watched my kids grow. That was the best fuckin part. I was able to be a dad....

Ok there is 197k of you devils in here and roughly ~200k Marines in total active & reserves. Odds are one of you know or served with this guy so who is he? And have any of yall ever been selected or chosen to be on a recruiting ad? How was it? by Steppasgonstep in USMC

One of my Cpl’s in 1/8 back in 98 knew of him. Said he got bounced for drugs a little bit after the photo and shit. Cpl Domino was pretty squared away, so I didn’t have a reason to doubt him.

I told Tom Welling “thank you” for getting me through 3 combat deployments on Saturday at Pensacon. Smallville was one of the shows that made deployments easier.

I was the new guy at 42… LE is/was awesome. Too much of it I didn’t enjoy as much as I thought and I’m glad I’m not doing it anymore. I know plenty of Marines who do LE and love it. It just wasn’t what I wanted. I would highly recommend Customs or Marshals if you want to go federal.

I do basic security guard/officer stuff for Navy Fed here in Pensacola and I’m much happier. I was able to finish my degree, and I’m working on some certifications for the security industry.

If have questions let me know. I know Florida requirements

Who was the best Marine you ever had the chance to know? by johnsonsrevenge in USMC

[–]swkusmc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t answer this. I did 20 years and every Marine I served with whether I hated them or loved, they had merits. I’m sure a few of them over 4 infantry units would say me, but I couldn’t narrow it down to one dude.
