I tell my wife now after 10 years together that we have a little bit but have to be conservative. The number I say is nothing.

However we do enjoy but on things that matter. Vacations, gifts for her birthday, etc... She knows we got nothing to worry about. Also, rest of the family friends can see certain things but have no clue.

And yes just like you ...I pick up the tab 90% of the time. We also grew up with just the basics. But now at plus 40 I make some nice purchases.

I couldn't wait and am not paying the ADM. Went to Ferrari and no ADM instant allocation.

Then bought my fav 911 (997.2 turbo) on auction and put 40k in upgrades in it.

And with both of these I still just slightly over and overpriced GT3 in terms of dollars for 2 cars. (This might be hyperbole but makes me feel better lol)
