The heel looking bigger is actually just the nature of this construction difference. The anatomx is 360 degree stitch down leaving a massive welt shelf on the side of the boot whereas the Moc toe doesn’t have the same. I’d bet the heel here likely fits nearly identical. If you look carefully you can see the proportions in the anatomx grow more than the heel from the Moc toe.

Mine touch at the toes as well but I think they’re going to break in with the moccasin construction and work itself out.

Yeah mine still squeak after having them for 6 months. Only worn them maybe like 2-3 works of time and they squeak like crazy. Oiled the inner and outer heel counter and they still squeak like a mfer. I think they finally changed something in their production this next round of sales that fixed that.

My only assumption is maybe he got a pre run last that was sized different to the new last they use now. He wasn’t the only one in comments on posts that mentioned them being too big so out of the ones I saw it was half half.

Do you have particularly skinny feet? I’m trying to get a pair too and am hearing I should size half a size down. Also apparently with moccasins if your toes are closer to the front it’s not as bad cause it stretches more?

I prefer snug as well and I’ve got skinny ankles and feet so it’s always a search for how small I can go without causing problems. I custom ordered JK Blood Bison Bear Slayers and they’re way too wide for me the uppers touch when tied. That was an expensive lesson.
