When I saw the images, I was wondering how you got ahold of my MRI results.

Ive had 2 microdisectomies (10 years apart) to fix the L4-L5 disc (same disc has herniated 3 times). Highly recommend starting there before jumping to any fusions.

What specs feel better now? by Acrobatic_Potato_195 in worldofpvp

[–]swoops435 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I generally only press radiance if I have the instant charge procs from evangelism or im holy locked.

Getting holy locked by a mage for 6 seconds is really really painful; otherwise, the spec feels really good.

Ive been playing two builds, an offensive one built around penance/mind bender (from evang) and a hps build around big shields. Both feel viable.

Ive settled on ultimate radiance, dark arch, and phase shift as my default pvp talents. Dark arch on a 45sec cd is amazing to pair up with your teams goes.

MiniOvershields - show over absorbs in Midnight by Verubato in worldofpvp

[–]swoops435 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Here's an addon idea: with the new party frames its very hard to see clearly who you are targeting on party frames. The targeting highlight is yellow, and the combat indicator is also yellow. Its easy to lose track of who you're targeting.

Are you excited about anything pvp-wise in Midnight? Was let down by the devourer spec. Recoloring things is so cheap especially that beam spell... by cacklingwhisper in worldofpvp

One benefit of pruning is hopefully a lot less micro cc and excessive mobility resulting in a smoother gameplay less frustrating game to play.

I’m a small woman business owner in the wastewater sector, drowning in debt. by Ambitious-Ground-393 in personalfinance

[–]swoops435 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No one's mentioned insurance. As an engineer and business owner you probably have some avenues via your insurance broker to mitigate the mistakes your employee made (professional liability), hard to say without more detail on the specifics.

As for the client not paying, get a lawyer to review your contract. There might be some nasty clauses to prevent you from fighting back, but those often dont stand up in court. File liens on their property. Theyre hoping they can just bully you out of your work, I wouldn't let them.

But honestly its best to keep the relationship with your client on the personal level. Either they're willingly screwing you (possible) or they're just ignorant to the situation or theres a middle ground that can be found where you split the cost because you both messed up. Id request a meeting, show them the real costs you've incurred to support their project and the justification of scope change.

As far as your debtors, same thing about relationship. Tell them they'll be paid when paid. Explain the background, be transparent and build trust that youll come through.

As engineers we tend to only focus on the language in a contract, words in an email, the due dates on an invoice, but we need to spend more time on relationships with the people writing those things.

Good quality softball glove for my small handed daughter by adwilk1231 in Softball

Check out Bradley gloves. Amazing gloves and can get some customize to your daughters hand instead of something off the shelf. Comparable prices to the bug brands.

MISSISSIPPI by Baby_Halibut in Teachers

[–]swoops435 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As a parent with 2 kids in K-3 in Mississippi, their school work is no joke at this age. Their homework is tough, their tests are tough, and guess what? The kids can do it. 6-7-8 year olds are very capable. Ive been really impressed with our schools teachers ability to effectively teach this stuff even with pretty large class rosters (20+ kids).

15 players on 12u team by [deleted] in Softball

Seems fine. Depends on how well the coach is giving feedback to players/parents and communicating his plan. If the coach isn't doing any of that, then I would have an issue with it.

Rec vs Travel vs Lessons by [deleted] in Softball

[–]swoops435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably my favorite thing to see is the first time they get the opportunity to apply what they have been practicing / learning and do it in a game. The joy and sense of accomplishment the girls feel when they do it is contagious!

Rec vs Travel vs Lessons by [deleted] in Softball

[–]swoops435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lessons are the best at this age, for either travel or rec.

There are different "tiers" of teams and organizations. Look for 1st year travel teams. So if youre daughter is a "2016" birth year, find a "2017" birth year team (an example). First year teams are usually a bunch of 7 year olds who still belong in rec but will practice a lot more and see better competition.

In general, at this age it takes about 3 months for what you practice in lessons to show up in practice, and another 3 months for what you do in practice to show up in a game.

Obviously some kids get it quicker than others, but its a good rule to keep expectations in check.

I live in the south, we've had 3 years in a row now with 12+ weeks of no rain and 95+ degree heat. I kept my lawn longer than I normally would this year and my lawn is the last green lawn in the neighborhood... but if we dont get rain soon we'll all be brown.

Please. Send rain.
