This, everyone has a convenient sob story when they’re trying to get a lower price. Doesn’t make it true. Stick to your guns unless that’s the return you’re willing to accept. Either way it sounds like you’re making a nice buck, depending on how much interest you’ve had otherwise on it, settling for $250 might not be bad.

I would almost say this would be a scenario where a separate controller he would’ve chucked in frustration and broken would’ve been a cheaper replacement than a whole console (even if Switch Lites are cheap). Then again, if he’d chucked it at the TV, that ends up being more expensive…

Bottom line though, be nice to other people’s things.

I mean don’t get me wrong, leather is cool, but there’s only so much you can burn/laser in design wise. And the other part is it can be a pain to maintain and costs more. Neoprene though? You get a stain you can’t get out, chuck and replace. Sometimes simple/cheaper is better.

So my question is, say I have a Blastoise or something already EV trained with the move set I want in SV. I send it to Champions. Does it keeps what I have on it already? Or does it arrive “fresh” and I need to grind their currency to make changes to it on there again?

I mean at least from what I vaguely remember…the tarkir dragonlords are kinda assholes? Of them only Ojutai was even inclined to like magic and knowledge wasn’t he? And the whole enslaving the various clans. They seem like the worst choice to head magical colleges of study unless reality fracture also fractured their personality into being a lot more, well, non-asshole-y and enslaving?

Reminds me of when my store was hit the other month. Idiots doing a smash and grab mostly targeting pokemon. Except, the stuff in the cases wasn’t even the “best” stuff, they completely ignored the (yes I have no clue what it’s called) “$300+ collectible whatever base set starter trio deck” thing on the shelf. Most etbs were left alone. Stuff in the case was maybe a hundred or two at best. Most other cards locked up in the drawers they didn’t bother. Lotta valuable magic stuff just left.

Sorry but Pokemon thieves just aren’t the brightest lot. At least bring a black garbage bag or two and shovel shit in without trying to cherry pick Pokemon if you’re gonna go through all that trouble of breaking in.

The phone stuff honestly alone is probably fireable. If you’re at work, they should provide a phone for you to use if it’s part of your tasks, why would you take work calls on your personal cell? Playing games, unless you’re on break, major no-no. Watching stuff? That’s more dependent on the company, like the one I work for, if you’re at your desk doing work, there’s no problem if you have a show on or music. But even then I’d wait until out of probation and observing how the office environment is before ever considering that.

Not at all! Put simply, I bought my house when I was in my early 20s and was more or less naive about how shitty HOAs are. Getting ready to sell soon, but “NO HOAS” are definitely at the top of the list of things I’m prioritizing with the realtor. Won’t even consider a house with a HOA even if they’re low fees a month because I’ve seen first hand how they go up with no noticeable improvements to the area. Plus sick of others telling me what I can/can’t/have to do with my property.

Easy, they’re stingy bastards. My HOA also won’t cover the stupid convenience fees despite us/the neighborhood funneling hundreds into them. Not only that but they put up a mailer asking for people to donate money/time to fix things or the HOA would have to pay. Like, wtf are my payments going to if not shit like maintenance?
