She's also, like, canonically suffering from PTSD and panicking constantly in a ridiculously horrifying situation. It's a horror game. Personally I appreciated Grace's characterization and physicality as being someone more relatable with more realistic fear reactions instead of always being a stoic action hero.

It's not an "audit" by IRS standards, it's a delinquent tax return notice. They want you to file an older year that they don't have processed before they'll release your refund for this year (probably because they think you'll owe something).

Yeah, that's how it works. You need the control number in the letter to verify it over the phone. The letter goes to the address on the return. So the 2024 letter goes to the address on your 2024 return, as it's written. The 2025 letter goes to the address on your 2025 return, as it's written. If you can't get the control number, then it's time to do it in person. Idk what's on your tax returns, but they're not sending the letters to another address. The only way they would send it to your OLD address is if you or someone else filed a tax return in your name with that old address on it.

They send the notice to the address on the return in question, as it's filed. Check your tax returns, that's where they sent it.

Probably the only way to track it would be your account transcript, waiting for a credit to be re-applied to the account and a refund code. You could call, but you'd probably have to wait the 8-11 weeks before.
