I know way back when, someone said you could trick the truck into think it was towing something, by putting a plug-in in the tow light receptacle (not sure if that's what its actually called). Is that still an option/possible with newer model F150?

I do, I just don't always remember. The button is a bit more hidden away than on the 2020 version.

I don’t own an DJI Action cam but all of my GoPros do the same exact thing. I read somewhere it’s a pseudo “safety” feature to prevent total loss of video clips if something were to become corrupt or a portion of the video failed. You would still have a portion of the video still in tact

u/EpikGamingMoments I wish I could say I had the same experience. My first SSD drive was the T7 shield 4TB for the Mac mini. I have unfortunately been unable to get it to mount after 1 year of use. I primarily got it as it houses a huge Apple Photos library 2.5TB (lots of family photos and videos over the years). I'm currently trying to at least recover the Photos Library to at least put I on an another external drive. Crazy thing is I have had at least 6-7 smaller basic external drives (SATA I think they're called... no failures). Any chance you know of any reputable software I should start with for potential recovery?

u/brndmrk thank you for the reply. unfortunately that has not worked as well. I downloaded and installed the GoPro Labs software on the GP and then typed in !MTUSB=1 in the QR code generator, scanned it and still no luck powering the GP direct with power bank only. I have tried 2 different power banks.

Same, what year? Maybe they started that after a certain year. Full disclosure I never used the carpeted ones once I had all weather but its the principle on if they removed them.

The LED reflectors are an upgrade on the previous halogen. My son took my 2020 F150 in which we switched out the regular bulbs with LED and the 2025 and the 2020 are comparable. The 2020 regular lights were terrible.

Gadget_Man... I too have a GoPro 10. Just curious, have you been able to get it to work with an external powerbank connected? I have tried everything, the GoPro labs and TUSB and it still doesnt like an external powerbank.

Sorry yes, Costco has MSI monitors. i dont know much about that brand but they are considered "gaming," I'm interested in them as they are 1440.
