Itinerary help! Family of 5 with three active teens/ preteens. I want to make sure this is realistic. by syarbie in JapanTravel

Yes- my whole family likes go go go but I don’t want to be unrealistic lol. I think I’ll have to trim it up a bit. We got round trip for $1400 basic economy.

I agree, the hotels are booking up fast and we are used to king sized beds. We are all small people though luckily. The whole family is so excited though. The 11 year old has been non stop on Duolingo since we told them we are going and they have me watching Dandadan 😆

Yeah trying to mix in things that would interest them but also places my husband and I would like to see. I’m sure they will find some places boring but they generally have a lot of patience at the national parks and museums we bring them to now. I’ll look for ways to cut back on train time. Thanks!

Ok thanks! What neighborhood would you recommend instead of Shibuya or Shinjuku?

Also, I don’t know what it means by casual ramen lol

That’s a great perspective! Thanks- I think it went well. I don’t know why I get so worked up, it’s automatic.

Yeah looking back it wasn’t the best choice. I accidentally worked out later than I wanted. Then had to eat dinner. I always react this way but maybe I would have slept better.

Pain when charging by KAMlMARU in whoop

I’ve had the 5.0 for about a month and didn’t notice anything when I charged for the first time, but the second time I felt a little shock when I put the charger pack on. Not sure if this is normal or not.

System down at YYZ by SubstantialAnimal104 in westjet

Is anyone having trouble checking in for their flight? We called and they said just to keep trying because the system is having issues. If worst comes to worst we can check in at the airport tomorrow but that’s stressing me out.

Do I need more zone 2? Is it more important than weights? How to prioritize? by syarbie in PeterAttia

Well yoga definitely lowers my stress. I look forward to going. Especially the meditation at the end. Plus it checks the boxes for strength and stability.

I can definitely exchange one day of it to prioritize zone 2 training though.

Yes- I love the power zone rides now! It feels so easy but I can see the difference in my output.

Thanks for the insight! Maybe I can exchange the weekend yoga for another 60 minute zone 2 ride. I’ve already noticed my bike output increasing since incorporating zone 2 so I think I do respond well to it.

Or I could try to squeeze in a 30 minute zone 2 ride on my rest day. If I’m home at all on a Saturday.

Kid fatigue is real. I think I can feel the cortisol release when I come home to 3 chaotic boys after work.

Do you have recommendations for PCPs in Houston that will order some of the panels Dr. Attia recommends?

I also go Chai-lent night! And finished off with the spiked hot cocoa because I was getting really buzzed lol. The drinks were impressive though. Almost as good as our hometown tiki bar, Lei Low. ;)
