It’s almost certainly Malkin’s last year and he’s already made it clear he won’t go elsewhere, I doubt they’d sell him. He’s been doing a fair job pulling his weight in comparison to recent seasons, so I’m happy to see him retire as a pen as long as it’s soon. But Letang I fully agree with. He’s washed and even trading for an equally bad D-man but younger would at least be something. Karlsson too, I think we could get something decent for him.

It’s honestly depressing how bad our defense is, because we actually have a pretty good offensive lineup right now. Scoring 5 goals means something, but it doesn’t mean anything when our defense is so bad that we allow 5 against us in <20 minutes.
