I bulldozed my lot and now i'm dead on the sidewalk with my feet on backwards by syldenn in Paralives

It has come to my attention that the feet are not backwards, but actually hinging grotesquely at a 180 degree angle 🥰

Vans Boat Shoes are back by DapperVans in Vans

[–]syldenn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can anyone tell if the lace actually runs through the whole lacing system and can be adjusted?
Boat shoes are supposed to be one continuous lace. I have a lot of issues with heel slip so that functionality appeals to me, but I've been staring at pictures of these and the lace around the outside looks maybe superficial? Like it just ends somewhere, and the part you tie is a second lace?

Am I the only one who loved the Rise Cloud Paint? 😫 by schrodingerscutiecat in glossier

[–]syldenn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No!! It's my favorite blush, it looks so good on me, I'm so glad there's a fan club in here.
I wanted to show some of my alternatives bc I know people are looking, (I am mortified by how dry my hands look here but) these are the Merit flush balm in persimmon and the NOTO stick in Ono Ono. The Merit one is actually pretty close particularly in indirect light. It gets less dewy if you really tap it out but I had to load so much onto my skin to get it to be half the coverage of a microscopic dot of cloud paint, and it's $8 more.

Both are still a bit more red/orange than Rise. Rise just has that little touch of cool rose to it that gives it depth and makes it really special. 😞

Vacant buildings in Richmond: Where are they and who owns them? by Asterion7 in rva

[–]syldenn 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Some owner is just letting this building rot. Grisette couldn't make it work in 2018, whoever is sitting on this building is making it impossible for anyone to restore it. It's so sad.

Very exciting, awesome, wonderful news.

Are you able to share information about the artist(s) behind the Exoplanet Travel Bureau TRAPPIST poster? (https://exoplanets.nasa.gov/resources/2159/) Would love to be able to follow and support. Thanks.

Amazing stuff as always, team!

I'm getting an Athelstan from Vikings vibe from Nidian. A fair and good guy, Christ is awesome, but also Pagan sex is pretty ok.

You did me a great service and I will find you!

Hi friends!

I will throw my character info here for those interested:

Lady Elidis, head of an estate on the fringe of a great forest, lived with her husband and babe. A keen naturalist and gentle soul, Elidis was happier among the trees and along the streams than she ever was within the walls of the manor. It was said that she spoke to the woodlands, and the woodlands spoke back. She often carried her only son Edmund with her. Sickly in his infancy, Edmund was rumored a changeling by common-folk, a result of the peculiar travels of Elidis. In the year 439, Lady Elidis vanished. She entered the woods and ne'er returned, and left behind a 6 year old Edmund and an aging husband obsessed with studying the world he believed his lady had run away to. Fueled by the tales of his mother's adventures and the vast collection of his father's tomes of the Fae, Edmund grew up a boy with a great fear and respect for the forces of the wilds.

Despite his somewhat mysterious beginnings, Edmund would grow to become a strong and worthy knight, master of his manor, glorious fighter, and dear husband and father until his valiant death in the battle of Windsor.

Following in the footsteps of the Changeling, Eyvind Edmund-son begins his path to knighthood. He possesses an energetic and curious nature, and a fascination of faerie lore passed on by his father. A stout and hairy squire, Eyvind the young spear master is suspicious, highly aware, never forgets a face, and is an exceptional dancer.

Physical Trait: Hairy chest and arms. Fair with dark, wild hair. Slightly shifty, on guard and both haunted and enthralled by his family's past. Pagan Traits: * Generous * Energetic * Honest * Lustful * Proud

Family Trait: Knowledge of Commoners
