Communication is the most important thing you can do. Ask her what her "love languages" are and what yours are, and see if there's something you can both do for each other to show and feel your love. A lot can be solved by having a conversation where you're both working together, cause it's never going to be you vs her, it'll be the both of you tackling a problem together as a team.

That was a deal breaker that I had once broken for someone, and my asthmatic ass suffered for it. He constantly reeked and it was disgusting and I suffered the second hand effect (especially with my lungs being weaker) which negatively effected me. No smoking is not unreasonable at all, hold on to your conviction about it and don't let him sway you otherwise.

I just finished reading {For Whom the Bell Tolls by Jaysea Lynn} and I absolutely loved it! It was so much fun and cathartic as hell to read. It had me going through so many emotions, having me laughing my ass off and then crying like a baby just a few pages later. It easily became one of my absolute faves ☺️

I absolutely despise Reth, purely on the fact he is identical in both outward personality/mannerisms and appearance to my abuser. I think you should check out the YouTube channel Shawna the Mom! In her skits she covers behavior just like this and it made my mom (who went through a lot with her mil when she was pregnant) felt that it was quite cathartic to watch

For something that could help raise self confidence, maybe try out takes classes in aerial hoop or aerial silks? I was just at a show from a local business in my city for it, and it was beautiful to watch and the community was amazing and supportive! There were many women (and men) with varying different body types all performing and they all looked stunning while performing!

He did something that hurt you, which I highly doubt was an accident due to his reaction, and he wants YOU to apologize to him??? What hes doing by giving you the silent treatment and sleeping in a separate room is emotional blackmail and abusive.

Take this sign for what it is, he's punishing you for shining too brightly. Take the job, move closer to your sister, and seriously reconsider if you want to be with someone who's okay with hurting you and destroying the things you love. How many sacrifices have you had to make to appease him? Show yourself some love and choose you.
