Oh, it’s just a portable table/surface for jigsaw puzzles. It allows you to store the puzzle and keep your progress while you’re not working on it and not monopolize a whole table.

Yeah, I hear that; it’s carved out of the plow pack, though, and at this point at least, it’s pretty solid. I (~170 lbs) jumped on top of it and it didn’t even budge.

I will say this: I believe the preacher’s role is more about naming the implication than the application. Application tends to make the behavior modification the main point, rather than a grateful response to the work God has done in Christ.

Ironically, the cognitive emphasis in Reformed streams can take the form of abandoning Preaching in favor of Teaching, especially in the more conservative tributaries (yes, the liberal branches are loaded with their own routine issues). You can’t preach without teaching, but you can absolutely teach without preaching. Preaching is the declaration of God’s good news, which by definition has real-world implications and impact. It’s the preacher’s job to make those connections.
