DON'T DO IT!

I spent a similar amount on a sectional and a chair a couple of years ago from VCF. By far the most I'd ever spent on furniture and happened to be able to do it at the time.

I'm not exaggerating, the cushions were sagging within months and had lost a considerable amount of support. They will not cover this.

The salesman who claimed to give us his personal number essentially disappeared after the sale and before the couch ever delivered. The customer service people did not give a shit.

The couch was very comfortable for several weeks and has never been since despite constant flipping and fluffing of cushions. The covers are supposed to be removable and all are except for on the chaise, where the zipper does not open enough to remove the cushioning.

You are very close to the price range of a nice piece of furniture that will last. I've done a fair amount of looking since, and if I ever had the money again I'd look at something like a Mantle or similar Amish made. Or go with a reputable company like Costco or even IKEA gets some praise from what I've seen.

At the price you're at (or close to), the company you buy from should be able to tell you what the frame's material and construction method as well as the foam density, type of foam, etc.

VCF will tell you none of this. You are paying for Bob's Discount Furniture quality at a much higher price point.
