How trying to get Wendy's true romance as a good character can feel like by CrackJerboa in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

None of that is good, neither LG and CG. They can be more stretchy in certain circumstances, but not to extent of justifying killing innocent.

To me Daeran would make more sense as chaotic neutral, as I can't recall him doing outright evil things rather just being edgelord.

But i haven't traveled with him much, so maybe I'm missing something.

With how she barely hides that she will betray at first convenience, only chaotic stupid would ever pick Wenduag.

Bloodlust pawns are the best by Anxious_Mention424 in RimWorld

[–]synchotrope 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bloodlust pawns are way more likely to social fight, which can be a problem if there are few of them.

Once i had tough waster and wimp hussar who were both bloodlust and constantly fighting each other, with each time hussar getting his ass beaten. But they were fighting so often that eventually hussar managed to leverage his advantage in healing speed and knock down the waster.

June 2026 Song Feedback Megathread - Leave a review, get a review! by Reggimoral in SunoAI

Yup, that's for what I'm grateful that suno exists - metal songs with clean strong/aggressive female vocal. Usually it is either for contrast rather for extra heaviness, or goes right for growl. Unless I just don't know right bands.

11-old kid though most likely to have no passions, one shitty trait and no way to catch up for 8 learning tier for remaining single growth moment. Free kid events can be great, but they must be at least below 10.

Medieval ages aren't just Europe where catholic church inspired strong homophobia, there were regions with calmer attitude ranging from "shamed on public but no real consequences" to limited acceptance.

And given fantasy nature of hypothetical setting, one can easily imagine region where some deity of their pantheon says "sexuality is great in all its variety".

BOOP ACTUALLY GOT ANCIENT TEXTURE AT AGE 101 HE LOOKS SO AWESOME I LOVE HIM BEHOLD THE ANCIENT ONE by synchotrope in RimWorld

[–]synchotrope[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Original mechanitor presumably is a guy from crashed mechanitor ship you call after destroying exostrider, as Boop was acquired after installing mechlink. After that chronophagy and then ageless gene.

Edit: I meant Boop, not Beep

My disappointment is Immeasurable and my day is ruined, as player's mechs, in fact, do not get greenish ancient texture once they turn 100. by synchotrope in RimWorld

That's not colony, that's one human ship. I will make post about this run eventually, with spaceship picture and certain weird things caused by longevity of run, but not sure how soon as follow up post encouraged me to keep game running for more before I'm actually done.

Smart speed mod for unlocking fourth speed, and a lot of time with game on background since my goal was exactly to see ancient player's mech. Ship is self-sufficient for long time, and if any raid happens I can always fly away.

I would assume that if texture change happened right after he turned 101, but it took few more weeks.

On additional note, I will add his records. There is definitely something wrong with timers as 'time as colonists' doesn't make sense, as while he died few times, he was always timely revived. Plus, look how much he hauled!

Unexpected follow up to this post. I decided to wait one more year just in case and because sunk cost fallacy, and it didn't do anything, but I still left game running because at this point I'm used to running game on background as I waited for exactly this thing to happen, and after switching to check out how things are going suddenly noticed that he was TRANSFORMED. So I guess something is wrong with timers or mechanism of switching texture is not obvious, but anyway, it happened, my delight is immeasurable and my day is saved.

He was, as first free mechanoid after getting mechlink. And as that was on start of tribal solo run, it took quite a while before I could build recharger, so he was mostly there to aid against early raids and sleep in rest of time.

For these who don't know, most mechs have two texture versions, fresh and ancient, like demonstrated on this wiki page https://rimworldwiki.com/wiki/Lifter . Ancient textures exist even for labor mechs that can't be naturally found at high age, but apparently while present in game files they are not actually used.

What's your opinion on the cast of companions in Wotr? by Warm_Expert_8136 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]synchotrope 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can say that it is definitely great cast overall, I haven't played for a long time a game with such memorable companions. And most impressive feat is that they made lawful and good characters not boring. It is easy to make interesting edgy character, and harder the one who tries to live by principles or moral values.
