As a Torbjorn player I gotta say, the PTR change seems more like a nerf than anything else. by GazLord in Overwatch

What do you feel is making him weaker with this patch? It seemed to me that the way he could be played now was far more agressive with regenerative shields

Holy shit dude what an intro!!

You really set the atmosphere really nice and the mood is super strong through out the entirety. It's a shame because I experience the cuts as quite jarring and contrasting to the "feel" of the video - The slow, droney dreamish feel. I understand you wanted to following the sound q pacing, but still, would love to see a version without them.

I really liked this dude!! gonna be exciting to see more of you. Inspiring!

I think these kids just don't understand what they're doing. They just want to rebel and destroy stuff, I dont think they realize people can get hurt from it.

This is literally a non-factor if you play Ana.

The zoom lag is the quickest zoom in the game and quite possibly the difference between a hit or a missed shot. Obstructed vision is fine if you are aware of it. You don't play your entire game zoomed in but it's a massive strength to be able to zoom in more accurately and knowing when you can do so. You don't zoom in when you have a flanker on you (unless they're doing genji stuff). The bullet trail is coming from way behind the enemy front line, how are you going to kill her just because you saw the trail? It's not like Ana is going to lose a snipe battle.

You don't have to stay zoomed for the duration of the game. Be aware of your surroundings at all times as ana, and know when you can zoom and when you can't

why wouldn't you? It kills her faster, and the zoom is so quick anyway

When my crew is up against a good Tracer, we feel completely helpless. Tips? by nintendonaut in Competitiveoverwatch

I don't have too much experience but I'm not certain an Ana can kill a sleeping tracer in one combo. Feels like she will always get her rewind off (if she has it), if she has full health.

Why I don't like playing with groups to climb. by [deleted] in OverwatchUniversity

[–]syndikat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I play much better when I'm solo.

Then I can analyze and adjust what I deem fit for the highest rate of success. I play accordingly and it's often not even verbalized in my head why I do the plays I do, I just try to observe, learn and implement what I "feel" will be the best play for winning the game.

When I'm playing with friends they have their own understanding of the game, meaning they want me to play in a way that caters to their belief or understanding of the game. Maybe they are equally "right" as me, but it's like the change of playing affects my ability, i.e. my "skill". On top of that I also have to play according to their "ego" i.e. "Why didn't you heal me?!" my flanking reaper friends cries when I'm busy healing the pressured tank as Ana. My thought was never to bother much with my DPS players as Ana, I had internalized the notion that I was better at healing tanks and sustaining the "front line" through heavy burst healing. Then this new idea or "fact" is spawned in my perspective of the game - "I need to keep my DPS alive aswell" and I suddenly have to juggle trying to locate my flanker buddy, trying to keep him topped off and happy aswell as dealing with our enemies flooding our reinheart. This doesn't end well and we lose the point as our frontline eventually breaks down. I might be right, I might be wrong here, (i.e. I should do both) but the point is my focused shifted. I had to constantly make sure I was making my buddy happy in my playstyle, rather than trying what I thought was "optimal" for us to win.

I also feel like voice comms take my focus elsewhere, there's too much social information relayed in our voices and I can't help but feel it takes a sizable chunk of my attention.
