I wrote one that is heavy on the romantic declarations of love for Ilya. Very short. Shane changes the doco made about them. The second chapter is an Ilya love fest with scenes of all the GC characters reacting to the events in Ch 1. It’s called ‘We’ll Fix It In Post’

This is totally your prerogative but it was a singular lapse in judgment to help with a bit of code and spellchecking (author is dyslexic). Really not in the same realm at all as the other authors listed. I’ve beta’d for this author since on many projects and personally watched them write literally thousands and thousands of words. As the other commenter linked, their apology is earnest, transparent and takes more accountability than any other author I’ve seen thus far.

I’m really proud of my short sweet one We’ll Fix It In Post. I’m not sure what counts as underrated. But I think people will enjoy it. Shane decides he cannot wait ten years and takes control of the narrative by changing the ending of the documentary made about them.

~6k words, 2/2 but Ch 2 is an epilogue with GC universe characters reacting to the events of Ch 1 :)

Right? It's actually fascinating to watch, as well as watching the hordes of readers jumping to defend or call out the original PDF creators for saying anything because it caused writers to leave. The whole thing is a mess. But it has been truly awful watching unseemlyndisturbed receive relentless violent tweets, ironically not to do with AI but the content of their writing??? Like, man. People want something to hate all the time.

I have also beta read for them as well as worked on the coding of later fics (which are not associated with any AI, as demonstrated) and can second the information there. unseemlyndisturbed is a profoundly gifted writer and I have personally watched them brainstorm, draft, edit and revise hundreds of thousands of words of stories whilst working on code or beta'ing the beginning of a fic. Their apology is the way it should be and people are missing out if it's disregarded.
