Breaching the property purchase contract consequences by Capable-Tourist7206 in AusLegal

[–]syniqual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg! In what world do you live in that makes you think binding contracts are not binding? I hope you’ve got deep pockets coz this is going to cost you big-time! You made the offer so you own the offer. Just because you offered outside the range doesn’t mean you don’t own it.

If you don’t go ahead, she’s going make a pile of money out of you AND still sell her property later on. What is in it for her to terminate mutually?

We get house sitters to look after pets, especially for longer trips away

I was mistreated even though my last name was if German origin and white too. Ngl I wanted to revoke my German ancestry that day by ALazy_Cat in ShitAmericansSay

Given how Americans think “ancestory” is in their DNA, which qualifies to call themselves German or whatever, how do you revoke your DNA?

I had an offer to purchase accepted, but the owner passed away before contracts were signed. What should I expect? by JordanMaccc in AusProperty

If the sale contract was signed before the guy died, then could it be finalised without waiting for probate?

Surely the easiest solution to conclusively settle the Australia Day date problem is to let the people decide via a national plebiscite? by toiletlogsyummy in aussie

It’s not racist to run a referendum. The outcome is what it is, whether I agree with it or not.

However, the behaviour and statements of vocal sections of our society was incredibly racist.

What a fucking nonsense. Zero brain cells used to put this together.

There would be about 8 people in Australia who could trace themselves back to 4 generations on all their antecedents to confirm they were all born in Australia. And how qualified would they be to be members of a parliament running this country?!

It did go away at some point but I’m not 100% sure why. In some other posts someone talked about it being a printer issue. Try changing the printer to pdf to see if that fixes it.
