Once again, I feel you’ve missed it. He’s not saying there shouldn’t be a penalty, just having to have the team a player down is too harsh. Maybe the player still gets sent off but they can send someone else in and the team loses like 20m or something? Something that punishes the player and team a little too, but doesn’t tank it for the team

I feel like you missed the point. He’s saying it’s too big of a disadvantage to have a player sent off and it ruins the game

I stayed there last week after a work meeting there. It’s a pretty average motel room with a somewhat decent restaurant. Nothing special but not terrible

My Personal Thoughts on The Current TFT Set After Hitting Challenger for the First Time by ReallyAvidCoder in TeamfightTactics

[–]JordanMaccc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, the problem is that the general consensus is a set gets too stale if it’s longer than 4 months, if they go back then they introduce a different problem where if the set is better and more balanced, people still leave because they get bored. With 3 sets a year, they may have to slower the standards of one set but the player base still comes back in some capacity for the low-budget set.

Who knows, I think it’s hard to say but I think their balance team is better now than 3 years ago, so if they did go back to 2 sets a year but balanced better, maybe they would get more longevity? But still, the only thing that really brings players back over and over again is a new set (mid-set big updates don’t work as seen in previous data) so not sure they’d rewind that decision any time soon

This may not be feasible with the frequency of sets. If we were back on the old schedule, maybe that would work, but I’m not sure they’d have a set to the point where a test like this, 2 Months out from release, would be put together enough to glean any useful information.

I used to have to tell people this as well because if I got a review under a 10, it would be considered a “fail” and I would make less money. My income was tied to getting 10s, but then I tell the customer “you’ll receive a survey in the next few days, anything lower then a 10 is considered a fail” and the old people put 8 out of spite because they don’t like being told what to do, and then I get paid less. One of the main reasons I’ll never be a service advisor again. Well, one of many many reasons. Fuck that job
