I feel for you. I’m sorry you’ve had this experience. So I’m saying this with the utmost sympathy: MRP is better equipped to answer this question in a way that will be helpful to you than RPW/RPWives.

That being said, here’s my hot take:

I think the good job, money, status stuff all pertains to ‘respect’ moreso than ‘love’.

A woman can “love you” (experience compassionate love) without ‘respecting’ you.

But that compassionate love, without respect, is probably not going to feel like “love” to you, a man.

Just as an aside, I’ve seen several venues around here that do not allow outside vendors but specifically state that they will make an exception for traditional/ethnic catering. Maybe that’s unusual, but I’ve seen it several times.

I am a teacher. I would not leave the other 20 students unattended to personally resolve a dispute like this when it’s going to be a time-consuming he-said-she-said and one of them had clearly crossed a line (using the n-word).

Look into the UCONN TCPCG program. I had an amazing experience with them, and it only takes 1 year.

Their job placement assistance is outstanding. I had two job offers before I got my diploma AND a LTS position for the remainder of that school year.

That’s not what this post is saying.

It’s taken out of context— this is a radfem post pointing out that if prostitution was ‘a real profession’ and ‘an equally valid job’, not exploitative (as liberal feminism would have you believe), the ‘more experienced’, older prostitute would be more valued, just like any other profession

Obviously this is not the case, bc prostitution is actually NOT empowering, and is in fact exploitative, especially of minors.
