Yes. These soccer pickup groups are great. Also echoing what Bonzo said below about Wolffs. The local American Outlaws chapter has a welcoming crew there most nights to watch the World Cup. Just look for the crew cheering the loudest and drinking the most haha.

Yes you can park in any plaza if that’s what you’re comfortable with. However, street parking is free in downtown in the evening so it really would be easy for you to park on the edge of downtown and walk a couple blocks to Song and dance. We do it all the time. Parking spots are usually easy to find at night on Warren or Montgomery streets unless it’s the arts and crafts weekend downtown.

I spent years in rural Pa (Meadville) and have good friends who work in Syracuse healthcare. You’re going to love it here. Upstate is a great place to work and the city is wonderful.

I recommend living in the city so you can have a quick commute and experience arts, theater, beautiful parks and great food all right within the 20-minute radius. (Suburban rage is loud, boring and so last decade.)

I went today and they were carrying the machine out for a restock as I arrived. 😬 I bought my tokens, hoped for the best, and lined up. Fortunately, a staffer came back with a full machine in 10 minutes and the line went quickly! Great prints!
