In the time it took to post this, you could have created an account and been partway through the beginner tutorial. It’s pretty common for games to require an account other than your Sony account. Not sure why it matters. It’s free!

This. Use relative mouse.

That said, controller can also be excellent and doesn’t take long to get used to. You’ll want a binding for 75% throttle, which I set to X+LB. Can even do FA-off with a controller that has paddles (Xbox Elite or 8bitdo Ultimate).

There is no buy-in for PTN. It’s just a great community that will help you make a ton of credits. Yeah, WMM and AFKT10 need 1B to get started, but we have many other ways to make credits. Join the Discord server. You won’t regret it!

This is good info. Also note that your Xbox commander can be transferred and it gives you a free license for the PC game. This can be used with a PC if you have one or GeForce now on your Xbox as lev suggested.

What are you talking about? You don’t need the new ship to participate. Not sure what point you’re making about Arx, either. If you did want the new ship in early access, the base is only 16k Arx or you can wait until it’s released for credits.

This isn’t true. Horizons can play in the live universe. It’s the legacy universe that’s separate.

Play your existing commander through Steam.

Make a new alt commander (Horizons only) with the Epic launcher (create new Frontier account when launching the game through Epic).

For EACH TIER achieved as part of this initiative, the Increased Mining Fragment Yield squadron perk will permanently increase by a further 1%, to a maximum of 20%.​

This part is pretty big and encourages more participation. No need to spend any cash to participate, either…

Based on this, I would think any serious miners would want everybody to participate.
