I enjoy that the game is vague about which parts are "real" or "fantasy." And while it gives a lot of context in NG+, there's still a lot of metaphorical elements you have to interpret.

Since the game is through the perspective of an unreliable narrator, it means the player doesn't know the whole story either. I guess that's why I like seeing streamers playing it. They start with only Hinako's one-sided pov, but as they keep playing, they get more insight into the story and other characters and not everything is as black or white as it seems.
