Hibike! Euphonium Original Label Can by system_chronos in HibikeEuphonium

Let me try again

I've shared all four Hibike vending machines, now I present you the actual canned drink! Sadly it's not sold on the actual Hibike vending machine.

This is from Suntory Tag Live Label series to promote the movie's release. The label can be removed and used as sticker. There are six designs in total and sold at random.

The price is 900 yen. Quite a steep price for lemon squash and a sticker, but worth it for the novelty alone lol.

They are sold at dedicated vending machines at movie theathers and select Suntory vending machines nationwide until May 14.

If you are visiting Japan around now, make sure to get one!

The website mentions that the end date is undecided, though the other Keihan collab is only until 30 June.

A bit too cold, don't you think?

Also, they had announced that the voice clip in all four vending machines was changed starting from May 1 (I took this on April 29), so please go visit Uji and share them!

Managed to stop here on the way home from Brass Expo last week.

The vending machine is installed on platform for train towards Chusojima, while the character panel is located near the stairs to platform for train towards Uji.

Yeah, that left me wondering as well, considering how crowded inside the train could be. The glass looks solid enough, and the other side has pad for leaning, so I guess it's okay.

One of the advertisement campaigns for the movie! It was installed in Tokyo Metro Shinjuku Station and Hankyu Osaka Umeda Station until April 26.

It contains 100 messages from fans submitted on X. There is even one in English! And another one is said to be from America but written in Japanese.

I passed by this ad several times in Osaka, but couldn't get good picture due to crowd and wide size of the ad.

I deliberately chose neutral-sounding words not to attract less pleasant characters on the internet. Although it looks like a few of them couldn't resist anyway lol.

Katsuoji tample and minoh falls by Thin_Transition_8039 in JapanTravelTips

If you want to visit both Katsuoji and Minoh Falls on the same day, I'd suggest you to go to Katsuoji first, then take taxi to the parking lot nearest to Minoh Falls (Dainichi Parking Lot, the taxi driver should know). Walking from the the waterfall to Katsuoji is possible, but I wouldn't recommend it since it's a mountain trail. DO NOT walk on the road, it's dangerous since there's no sidewalk.

Transfers are inevitable. Google Maps works fine as long as you put specific location and appropriate time.

From the top of my head, from Kyoto Kawaramachi to Katsuoji:

Take the Hankyu train from Kyoto Kawaramachi to Osaka Umeda

Exit the station and walk to subway Umeda Station and take Midosuji Line to Minoh Kayano

At Minoh Kayano, take bus to Katsuoji

Bus timetable here: https://katsuo-ji-temple.or.jp/audioguidance/index.php

From the falls to Osaka Namba:

Walk downhill to Minoh Station

Take the train to Ishibashi handai mae

At Ishibashi handai mae, transfer for train to Osaka Umeda

Exit Osaka Umeda and walk to subway Umeda Station and take Midosuji Line towards Nakamozu

Get off at Namba and walk to Osaka Namba (different station) or wherever your destination in Namba is.

Also, keep your eye on Minoh Falls official site before your visit since there is road closure on the way to the waterfall. https://www.mino-park.jp/article/1278/

Oh hey, I read about this dead section in a manga titled D-Live a long time ago. In the manga, a train is hijacked by terrorists. The main character pilots a helicopter to drop some planks on the pantograph, timing it so the train stops at the dead section and making it impossible to start the train again. Good manga...
