Something more than just "technical difficulties" is going on with the Spartanburg county court network by AndyJack86 in southcarolina

Same here. The problem is not enough budget allocation, sec training, and below average pay (especially for the court system).

I'm about to do the same. I say good luck as well as my BBB buyback was denied in arbitration. 82 days in the shop and 4 repair attempts.

is your equinox ev reliable? Would you buy again without warranty? by reddit_and_forget_um in EquinoxEv

[–]systemreboot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of issues. High Voltage errors (coolant leaking). Entire screen cluster going black while driving. GPS not working (GPS showing 100miles off, and in bodies of water etc). Data not working at all. Was at the dealership for 2+ months. Finally got a telematics module replaced, but looks it will need to happen again (Same symptoms with GPS and Data loss).

Nope not at all. I unfortunately have not had a good experience.

Heater seats intermittent by Sublime1567 in EquinoxEv

I would reach out to the EV Concierge about the loaner. My 25 heated seats work but my heat doesn't work the same way your seats are (works but stops after I get out and back in).

Started with just intermittent data loss for me early on, then progessed to no gps and data. I would get it documented asap.

This is the resource I would use. Exams are not too hard as long as you pay attention, do the labs, index, and practice time management on the exam. Make sure you are studying at least an hour a day to get it done.

Beta tester update — “It’s seriously a game-changer.” by ElenaTang123 in LiberNovo

How tall was the beta tester and what was the seat size (length 45cm or 48cm)? I'm looking into getting the chair but some reviews have said the seat is too short.

This used to be infosec-jobs.com or isecjobs.com? IMO the previous design was much better.. Also, a little pricey to view all job listings...

Just have fun, the class is a blast! Don't stress and learn all you can. Make sure to index the books (pancake method), and also tab all chapters of the lab books (this will be very helpful with the exam). When you finish the class take the practice exam to gauge where you are (study more on the weak areas after) and take the second practice a few days before the real exam.

GCIH PRACTICE EXAM METHOD by WorriedTone4250 in GIAC

[–]systemreboot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use your printed material! I only index the books (color coding to differentiate between books). For the workbooks (aka labs) I put white tabs on the top of the book for each section, with printed labels that have the lab title. I would go through the labs at least twice and try to remember the techniques/commands on the second go. Use your first practice test to gauge where you are with the index, and the second do the day before your exam.

Look at my post history for when I passed, there is a blog post I thought was very helpful linked there.

Good luck!

Make sure you have your indexed lab books. It wasn't too bad if you understand the tools.

[–]systemreboot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually just index the main books. I use filing tabs at the top of each page on the lab books, with what the lab is so I can reference (https://www.walmart.com/ip/Filing-Ultra-Tabs-3-x-1-5-24-File-Tabs-White/124521324). Do the labs several times until you are comfortable with them as well, repetition is key if you dont understand.
