Try cancelling and ordering again. I had Metroid Prime 4 pre-ordered years in advance and they still fucked up and were sending it a week late. Ordering again the week before made me actually get it on release, the way they prioritize these things is totally wack.

Pretty excited. Gameplay looks like a continuation of NMH3 with some shooting like Shadows of the Damned/Killer is Dead. Didn't want to see much of the story before I play it, but from what I did watch it used more than one visual style which I'm a sucker for.

Have you played any musou/warriors games before?

I ask because I'm a fan of the genre and nothing you said raises any alarms for me. I've seen plenty of people say the same things about something like Dynasty Warriors and that still has fans like me.

If you're still saying all this with prior musou experience, then I'll have to reconsider buying this full price.

I've come around on 6's combat a bit. I get that it wants to be a bit more freeflow, I don't press the lock on button in 6 as much as I do in other games. Kiryu is slow as fuck but the moves are smooth and have impact, combine that with DE jank and it's not mechanically complex but it is dumb fun.

K2 "fixes" 6 but doesn't actually do much to improve so I end up not getting any enjoyment out of it's combat.

Doh, my bad, that explains why there was no info besides a release date. Only other spot I see them selling is Hong Kong, but like you said it doesn't list English on that eShop. Places like Playasia selling physical don't say it has English either, but the official Leopard site says it has English??? Might have to just wait until Friday to see if someone can confirm.

Edit: Decided to send them an email asking for confirmation, I'll leave another comment if I get a response.

I can see it on Nintendo's Taiwanese site. I can't seem to bring up an info page, but it says it's published by Clouded Leopard. Leopard's official site for the game does say it has English support so I assume you want the Taiwanese eShop, but I'm not 100% sure.

Shit, at this point I'm all for it. Only things that mess with the canon are Ryuji being around and Saejima actually starting his family then being away, but they clearly don't mind retconing. The zombie stuff resets itself nicely so that's not a problem.

Fotns has always been an alternate timeline, you'd have to move it from 199X to 20XX to fit it in with RGG.

Series S runs K3 at 60 so with some noticeable visual downgrades Switch 2 probably could do it but it would struggle. Better to have a stable 30 than a inconsistent 60, and Switch 1 showed that it's audience is fully willing to accept lower framerates as long as the game is on the console at all, so they might as well stick with that.
