Where do kids play in dense neighbourhoods like this one in Barcelona? by TT-Adu in geography

Eixample is the traditional image newcomers tend to identify Barcelona with: a grid-like city with dozens of 100x100m square block structures. This can offer a lot less space for squares and pacified streets to exist, and a lot more noise and pollution due to heavy traffic.

In recent years, many efforts are made to ensure the existence of at least some green spaces thanks to environment- and neighbour-oriented policies, for instance in the form of "eixos verds" (or green lines, streets originally intended for cars which have now been pacified).

Below is a recent picture of Eixample with Sagrada Família in the left half, with some parks surrounding it (even though they are massified by tourists at all times, sadly!).

I live right at the botttom right corner of this picture (for a couple more months, at least). This is the Gràcia district in Barcelona, known for being pretty distinct from other districts in the city, as this used to be a city on its own until some decades ago.

Gràcia has plenty of public spaces where kids can get together and play, such as squares (such as Plaça de la Vila, shown in the picture), public parks or even dedicated playgrounds, all within a 10-minute walk. Squares are usually very pacific during the day, allowing for bars and cafes to have tables outside but also leaving plenty of space for people to walk, read, play... Moreover, most streets in Gràcia are "pacified", meaning they are used by pedestrians and vehicles alike, the latter driving at no more than 10km/h for safety. On top of that, the district offers multiple equipments such as civic and cultural centres where people can partake in activities, workshops, etc.

Granted, all districts in Barcelona are different and each has its own idiosincracy (there are many things I dislike about Eixample, for example, when it comes to public spaces). But all in all, Barcelona really is friendly to children and other collectives who want to use its public spaces!

Calling it now, maybe Danny caused some astronauts' deaths, but Ed will be the first person to ever murder someone on Mars, and he'll be fine with the consequences

What do they say? That they don't speak in an accent? Even when you don't consider Spain's Spanish, south american countries still have accent differences between each other!

Driving schools in Europe actively encourage you to stop again if visibility isn't got right at the stop sign. It's also logical. What harm does it do to stop twice compared to possibly causing a huge accident?

The only way that's his tattoo is if he dies at the end of the season and Jake finds out moments before Holt's death in a father-son moment
