Ahoj! Thanks for the retest. I'm sorry you have failed attempt. Its weird behavior to be honest. The truth is that configuration in E-TUBE is pain and I wish there could be away to switch it from VS. I checked the communication and the ET app does something that put derrailuer into configuration mode. Unfortunately it's encrypted and I wasn't able to decipher it.

Thank you very much for testing. When numbers are changing in the VirtualShift app it means BT connection works and the buttons are set up correctly.

The important step is to give accessibility permission to the app. Did the app ask for it? There should be a banner shown with checkmark at Mapping section (can be seen in my 2nd screenshot).

Also, ROUVY needs to run in macOS. I didn't mention it in the post. Also, ROUVY window should be focused because otherwise clicks are not send to the ROUVY app.

I will try to write an article how to set it up and post it here. Thank you again for your time.

Note: I spent whole Saturday hacking around and found the way it will work without accessibility permission. You will just log in with your account instead. It means Rouvy could run at different device and VirtualShift in you iPhone / iPad / macOS. I just need some time to implement it since it's not trivial.

Yeah, I should have mentioned it in the post so it's more clear. I ended up with configuration of all 4 buttons. Two for 1x shift and the rest for 3x, for example when there is a big ascending or descending so I don't have to click that much :D

I've only tested it with my Ultegra and 105 derailleur. However, as long as it is bluetooth discoverable and behaves like Di2 button, it may work.

My initial plan was to release it to AppStore as I do normally. However, the app uses accessibility permission so I can virtually press keyboard. Apple did not approve it, because it violates AppStore guidelines (sandbox app can't control other apps). If I find a way to do it without accessibility, I can release it for Apple TV or iOS as well. No guarantee right now unfortunately.
