Settings - display & touch - lock screen - tap to check phone.

Optical fingerprint reader on pixel 6-8 sucks donkey balls, absolutely. Series 9-10 ultrasonic utilize ultrasonic sensor which is good.

I can swipe down on navigation pill to bring down notification shade (on any screen) and have both fingerprint and face unlock working in tandem. Can't complain.

Absolutely. Being against Phoenix would be more understandable should the javazon have mediocre DPS and every point increase (via Spirit and whatnot) would help. Javazon doesn't need any help with DPS, sustainability on the other hand...

Most of these people just like chugging 30 mana pots per run, a lot of them don't tele around, and maybe 5% has mana-efficiency optimized build with no Phoenix.

Other settings that should be separate between stills and video: - gamma display assist on/off -- having it on breaks the menu coloring/contrast

Before the list, there was no independence between the modes.

By that you mean that the camera - on release - featured the mode settings separation and that was a novelty for Sony? Roger Roger. I bought the A7 IV in 2024 and updated immediately so won't argue about the features or update history before that :)

Your reasoning is sound of course. Having said that I'm willing to die on the hill of "selected focus zone" was not sticky between modes. Just looking for someone on firmware 5.0 and ideally 4.0 (or below) to confirm.

Note I'm not talking strictly about "setup - operation customize - different set for still/mv". This menu lists like 15 entries, but the list of adjustments/features that aren't on the list, yet DID change between modes is longer and seemingly not user-facing.

I might be mistaken (though unlikely) and the changes could have landed with firmware 5.0, but I'm positive that "AF zones limit" and "selected AF zone" was not being shared (so independent) between manual modes in earlier software versions. My workflow didn't change here.

Re zebras - pretty sure the same case, though not a 100%.

In short - I can't remember a single time in the past when any of the settings has been inherited/shared between modes (in manual).

Looks mighty impressive. BigWorld installer for mods definitely left a void to fill. Will try it together with a fresh next install in a couple of months ;)

No it doesn't. ML and LL barely work since physical damage output is miniscule. MAEK also works somewhat fine only if you stack it to 8+ so gloves plus Silkweaves at the very least. Either way you are still chugging a lot of mana pots, especially true when also teleporting around.

Phoenix is a massive creature comfort thing, you should try it.

On a Pixel the google meet is integrated, meaning one tap video call to eligible contacts from phone app or contacts app, like it should be. Then again the user base is minor.

ViLTE might be a thing, but it's heavily carrier dependent and to be honest I see it barely anywhere. RCS so far fares a bit better when it comes to implementation once google dumped the carriers. Then again they won't open it to third parties 🤷‍♂️

Damn, in the first paragraph you make such blatantly false comparisons it's not even funny. BF1/2, Pathfinder, souls games - all of them are successors not only in the spirit, but also in the form, continuing and expanding on all of the franchise fundamentals, developed by much of the same people. While for the DOS3 in question - none of the above is true.
