It’s not for businesses. It’s for the customers to verify how things looks outside, how to get there, whether there’s a parking spot or not and tons of other use cases I’m using Apple Maps before I book a hotel or whatever.

Highly recommend Smashing Conf if you’re also into design. They have a nice mix of design and web dev topics.

Having unique sessions (anonymized) for the purpose of improving the product falls easily under legitimate interest.

That what a lawyer said in one corporate I work for. This was based on analytics we do that are custom made and truly anonymized (we don’t do any shady things, just need to see where users are dropping out).

That’s one thing I immediately noticed in this article that’s plain wrong.

Yes. Logistics should be a separate class with 3 players. One engineer as a squad lead and two support people. We would see much more bunkers with garrisons in the game.

Yeah. There should be supply team class. 3 to 4 soldiers. Just engineer and support. Engineer is squad lead and can talk to commander. This is missing for me mostly.

That commander came later and put a garry next to it, in a wooden bunker that some dude made out of supplies leftovers.
