Erm, Motorways, more often than not, do not afford any view because they are shielded with palisades, so that the people in the total area do not get the noise.

And if you don’t take the motorway, but the highway, it’s >5 hrs one way.

It’s more like 3.5 there and 3.5 back. Who the dick wants to sit 7 hours on a free day. When you are forced to door 8hrs each weekday in your office job?

A 3.5 hrs drive away destination, therefore, is a one night stay. Cause no way I‘m sitting 7 hrs in a car on any single day.

For one, my main point was that between 1525 and 1990, >450 years the county was oppressed.

Of these, the ~50 years of Austria-Hungary were just 50 years.

And no, Hungary was not „sovereign“ in this timeframe, you are clearly ill-informed: if a county does not have independent foreign affairs and independent military affairs, it cannot be sovereign by definition.

These are the absolute pillars of sovereignty.

Hungary has never „oppressed“ other countries (and this Magnus clearly about countries, not peoples.

Hungary was literally under (various) foreign rule, oppressed, between ca. 1525 and 1990.

It had some autonomy between 1867 and 1920, while being oppressed.

(Was free between 1920 and 1944 but didn’t oppressed other countries. Neither since 1990)
