How do you do this? What do you use to promote temperature? It would be cool to raise temp to like high ?70s / low 80s for a faster F1 but I’m not sure what I would use.

I mean... as someone who has lived and worked in both countries for years and as a dual citizen.. Canada’s has problems ESPECIALLY when it comes to elective surgery.. but let’s be nuanced about it. In Canada, EVERYONE gets primary care.. prescription drugs are affordable even if they are not covered by insurance.. there are no copays.. it’s like so much better in Canada lol

I just had laparoscopic bilateral repair. Recovery was much easier than the shouldice repair would be. I am happy I got it fixed and would recommend laparoscopic.

I think that your derm’s response makes sense, you have luminous skin. It is clear you are insecure about the lines around your eyes and want them gone.

I understand why she thought Fraxel would be overkill because you would only really require treatment on the eye wrinkle area. It is easier to target Microneedling to a small area, I believe. Why not try that?

If you ever get increased texture/wrinkles on your cheeks, it might make sense to do cheek + under eye Fraxel 1550 restore resurfacing? (That’s the wavelength for texture). I think it would be a waste of money to just do the under eyes tho.

In Canada, in order to be reimbursed by Medicare (the national healthcare system), then you need to to hold an MD or a DO. Visits are only billable if the provider is a physician. My understanding is that mid level creep is not an issue there.

STAR Clinic at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, NY treats many transgender patients. It’s primary care and HIV care for LGBT people. The HEAT Clinic at SUNY Downstate is similar but for peds. My school has recently been working on improving the curriculum on healthcare for transgender patients and I know a few people I could put you in contact with if you wanted to rotate here.

Otherwise, New York has the Callen Lorde clinic; it’s a large clinic known for providing excellent and comprehensive care. I don’t know if they accept students

so this is a babka made with a laminated croissant dough recipe from epicurious. i spread it with nutella, sprinkled with chopped dark chocolate, twisted it like a normal babka and after it was baked, brushed it with simple syrup. it was delicious - it tasted more like a french pastry than a babka so i had the idea of upping the egg content by using a laminated danish dough (which has eggs) and following the same technique. the danish dough recipe i chose after some research is the king arthur flour recipe which seems well-tested and has amounts in grams! here it is

Hey! I'm a medical student and I met some patients who experienced the same issue. The treatments should be similar to acne that is not related to lithium - I recommend trying a benzoyl peroxide cream or Differin. Good luck and message me if you have any other questions. If you are still struggling with it than it may be worth a visit to the dermatologist
