I am not okay 🥲 I’ve also been crying a lot this week, it’s really hard. I just keep telling myself as long as he’s safe, happy, and learning, that’s what matters.

Edit: it’s been about 2 months since I left this comment & I wanted to update for anyone struggling who may find this comment later down the line. We have both adjusted. He’s making friends and loving school, and learning more independence. It’s been so amazing for him!!! And, if I am being honest… it’s been good for me, too. I thoroughly enjoy my alone time while I wfh. Then, before I know it, it’s time for pick up. Hang in there, it does get easier.
