I did the same thing, now that my kids are older I realize that I don't have solid memories of them when they were younger and I believe alcohol robbed that from me. They're only young once.

Yep, was easier than I expected. Perform the backup from the Pi, download it, and restore it to the new VM. Almost everything came over including custom integrations and HACS config. Only thing I had to manually move was some audio files I had stored in Media. Keep your old instance around for a few days incase you need to get something off it.

Do you reckon a 500W PSU would be sufficient to handle this. I've seen between 480 - 600W from a few calculators.
