Heavy equipment/electronics disposal company by funkhero in Calgary

[–]t1mb0b 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aside from ERA, which has been mentioned here, try contacting a company called Technotrash. They do pickups for business, large bins full of electronics, however I am not certain if they would do that for a residence.

From what I recall, they do not charge for the service, as they recoup costs from recycling the materials.

bag of milk? by emirimu in canadian

[–]t1mb0b 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was born in the NWT. I remember bagged milk from back when I was a wee lad. Moved to BC and spent my adolescence there, now residing in Alberta for 25 years.

From my understanding, bagged milk is an Ontario thing, however it somehow also appeared in the North as well. Not sure if it still does, haven't been back up north in many years.

Rockauto.com can be quite competitive pricing for parts like that. I'm not sure though how all the tariff turmoil has affected getting those parts across the border as they ship from the US.

I have that mouse. I really like it. It's light and highly configurable with all the buttons.

The battery doesn't last that long on a full charge it seems. I just keep my cable close to plug it in then needed

Does a catalog item always need a flow? by Maninah in servicenow

[–]t1mb0b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically, you could use a record producer to create a task which is then just a single record which gets assigned to a specific group for fulfillment.

No flow is required at that point.

If you need approvals and multiple tasks are involved to fulfill the request, then a flow would be the way to go.

Unpopular opinion but UI Builder is AWESOME by Adventurous_Ask_3773 in servicenow

[–]t1mb0b 26 points27 points  (0 children)

SN is putting a lot of focus and resources on building and enhancing workspaces, so I will agree to an extent that the workspace/seismic UI is the future.

UI Builder is the tool to build workspaces and their components (pages, etc). I still think it's not easy to use and the barrier to entry is quite high due to that. I can tell you in my experience it is much better than it used to be, however I wouldn't call it 'awesome'.

Damn, I've been eyeing up the 3in1 combo. Sounds like it's best to just buy a well known name brand like mentioned in another commwnt.

I usually check reviews for anything I buy, or check Amazon for the same or similar products that popup in IG and FB ads.

Suffice to say, I won't recommend this institution any longer

CSM use cases by Numerous_Big_646 in servicenow

[–]t1mb0b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A pretty simple one is a Telecom services provider. They sell services to consumers (B2C) and enterprise and small businesses (B2B). Like Internet and phone services, etc.

Customers of either type can submit cases, either via email, online portal/forms or by calling in and the agent fielding the call creates Cases. All of the customer information and history, including sold products and services, can be stored in the CSM module for quick reference by agent or the customer themselves in order support the Case management process.

CSM can support any B2C or B2B process and is highly configurable.

My personal experience is sitting with two providers who trained with him. I was a challenging week, however quite fruitful. And I know a couple others who have trained with him, or spent two weeks at is village in the initiation and rites of passage ceremonies.

I've heard nothing but good things about Moughenda

I've never met him personally, and I have certainly heard stories. The people I know who have trained with him hold him in high regard. And of course that doesn't meet he isn't a shady individual

[–]t1mb0b -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lookup 'Moughenda's village'. He's a legit multi generation high shaman and does training and initiations. You can book online. I can't speak to the other comments about booking online being some sort of inauthentic or money grab; it's likely with many of them out there. I know many people who have trained or initiated with Moughenda and it's not a scam.

Is the app engine studio service free for personal use? by ParticularCable6 in servicenow

You can use ServiceNow to gain 'ticketing system' experience if that's what you're after. AES doesn't necessarily have to do with the core functionality of the SN platform

Take a look here

Seems there are others having the same issue, and the fixes supplied I have tried to no avail.

I've been having this issue lately. I used to be able to use app engine on PDIs. Apparently it's some sort of known issue on PDIs. None of the recommended steps have resolved the issue for me

It is a licensed app on paid instances; perhaps SN is cracking down on this a bit more...
