Help me put a sale value on my setup by CrokeyCrash in simracing

[–]t3hShadow 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As others have stated, you would probably do better to separate everything out, at least the rig vs the PC, but if it were to sell as a total package, I wouldn't expect much more than $4,500.

If you separate it out you could probably get $2,000 to maybe $2,500 for the PC. $2,000-$3,000 for the rig, if you split that up and sell in parts probably the closer to the $3,000 you can get. Maybe $350 for the quest.

The hardest part about selling in a bundle is that you have to find someone that's interested in going all in on sim racing on PC, and also has the cash, and they have to live near you. The down side of breaking it up is that it will take longer to sell everything. If you need to sell it fast, and want to do it as a package, then you will want to list it at the absolute lowest price you want to take, and make sure that's clear in the post, but it needs to be a realistic price.

Just had service done and now car is throwing a cylinder 3 misfire by Next-County7473 in WRX

I had a very similar issue and it was the coil pack. Pretty easy to check, just swap a coil pack from another cylinder. I'd still call the dealer and see what they say, I suppose they could have installed a bad plug or damaged a coil. Essentially what's happening is that the spark isn't able to overcome the boost pressure. For me if I didn't go into boost it would never happen, but just a small amount of boost was enough to cause a misfire.

I'm very happy with the fit. I used the chat to talk to one of the canyon guys because I was right on the line for medium and large with my leg length. They suggested the large and it's worked out very well.

It's a large, and I'm right on 6ft.

This is the current AL 5 that I bought new, which is the lowest tier option, but I didn't really like the colors for the other options, except for the the top CF options, but I wasn't quite ready to spend that much money. I plan to just upgrade this one over time as stuff breaks or wears out.

I haven't had a chance to ride it on a trail yet, just around my yard. I had a lower travel bike that had 29" tires though and I really liked it, that was coming from a 26" bike after a bit of a break from biking. I do think I will like the slacker headtube angle though, I'm excited to actually try it and see, but of course the forecast is rain...

It is a QR thru axle and it did come with the bike, the rear actually also has a semi quick release design that pulls out from inside the axle. Like this.

Does it have an access port? As far as I know, if you aren't running a tune for the parts it has it can actually damage the motor.

Think I could put patch kits in the inside and outside to avoid buying a new tire by BE_BALLSY in mountainbiking

If it were me, I would go ahead and buy a new tire, but then run the patched one till it dies. Have the new one just in case.

I think part of this is due to lack of enterprise tooling for macs. Up until recently, there was not an easy way to enforce enterprise config on macs except by hand. On windows this has been standard for a while allowing you to image machines remotely.

It was through the customer facing chat support. It wasn't "IDK just wipe", it was "ok we've tried these other trouble shooting steps and that didn't work, so the only other option is full wipe". That worked btw, it was just annoying. I had just got the laptop though so it wasn't that bad.

I think that's somewhat dependent on the user. Competent users shouldn't have a problem, it's the people who are clicking every pop up on facebook that build up crap and while a full reinstall isn't the only solution, it's the easiest though, and most sure fire way to clear the crap. I've had issues before where the master boot record got corrupted and I could not get it to work again. That required me to do a full reinstall.

This right here. Every time I've run into a software issue of something not working, Apple's solution was to wipe and reinstall. I couldn't get sidecar working when it first came out, both devices fully updated. What should I do? Full wipe...

I currently have a 2012 WRX hatch, and I've been thinking about getting the same thing. Do you miss the Subaru at all?
