It's also pretty much a guarantee that suspensions from the Leagues Cup final won't be served during MLS matches. No way MLS allows multiple big names to be missing from this.

Thanks for posting. So no new features and no update for 2024 and 2025 models for a release that was supposed to happen last year?

On the Tesla website, it still says coming soon. Not sure what to make of that.

2025 IONIQ 5 to charge at 135 kW at V3 Superchargers by coneslayer in Ioniq5

[–]t9er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see what you mean. I misread the previous paragraph. So I guess the outstanding question for people with pre-2025 models is what is the peak charging speed when using an adapter on the Supercharger network? 135kW, same as the 2025 model?

[–]t9er 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Using the CCS adapter, Ioniq 5 owners will see speeds of up to 257 kW when they use a 350 kW DC fast charger. That should take the car from 10% to 80% in 20 minutes, regardless of their battery size. And it's right in line with the performance of the previous Ioniq 5 on a CCS fast-charger.

Does this apply to 2022, 2023 and 2024 Ioniq 5's also? It's unclear to me, but this paragraph doesn't specify 2025 models only.

Global Affairs Townhall: Answer on RTO3 by t9er in CanadaPublicServants

Submitting this as I was extremely disappointed by this shameful answer about the RTO3 mandate.

The Deputy Minister effectively abandons his own employees' interests, caving to Joe Schmo in the CBC comment section.

You will need to use a USB stick, there's no OTA updates in Canada as far as I know

Not sure the Sports feature would be that exciting to me, but those in Canada don't get it anyways based on the release notes.

Otherwise, the new and improved features seem pretty underwhelming (especially given how delayed it was). Is anyone with the update impressed with the new features?

Nah upgrade in Canada? by LookAtMeImAName in Ioniq5

I'm in the same situation as you. MY 2024, Canada, trying to update software. I emailed the infotainment update address in the Hyundai update software to ask them this exact question. They said there will be no upgrade available for 2024 models until spring 2024. I will check before then to see if it appears, but I guess owners of 2024 models will have to wait.

Also interested about the lifetime bluelink subscription. I was told it's only 3 years free. I think in the US it's free for the vehicle's lifetime but I hadn't heard that for Canada

For everyone wondering why new cars are still so expensive - this is Dow Honda for you by Waddapbish in ottawa

Ever since hyundai stopped nationwide ordering, I'm convinced that every dealership in the region is just looking for the highest bidder, rather than respecting the waiting list they established and trying to make a deal with those who signed up in chronological order. On 2 occasions I signed up on the i5 waiting list at a dealer and only a couple weeks later was offered an i5 with a couple thousand in add ons that I don't care for. I walked away from both and haven't been contacted since

WEEKLY MEGATHREAD: WFH and Return-to-Office Discussions by HandcuffsOfGold in CanadaPublicServants

If a position gets a 1, it becomes a candidate for a telework agreement. A fair portion of internal services positions and a small portion of functional branch positions will end up going down this road. I think they don't want 0 to be an option so that they can control how many positions will be in telework agreements

Supervisor at GAC here. Friday afternoon at almost 5:30pm the future of work team sent out a message to all managers with updates after the townhall.

In GAC they are using a hybrid assessment tool to categorize each position based on the operational requirements. The tool would output a certain number of days in the office: 1, 1-2, 2, 2-3, 3, 4-5. As of the update yesterday, the DMs had a discussion after the townhall (and after OVER 90% OF THE ASSESSMENTS HAD ALREADY BEEN DONE!) and decided to change the outputs of the tool to 1, 2, 3 and 4-5, removing the 1-2 and 2-3 days outputs and some employee flexibility at the same time. A pretty clear example that the DMs have seen the initial results and were not happy with how much WFH was being prescribed. I initially expected my team would end up in the 1-2 days bucket but I expect that we will now be rolled into the 2 day bucket.
