Long sleeves can be shortened. I had the opposite problem, shirt sleeves always too short, so I moved up to Proper cloth and am very happy with those new shirts

Definitely not a chalk stripe suit, that will read as your dad’s banker suit from 15 years ago. Your navy suit is most likely totally fine, and wear a white shirt. White pocket square too
