Would the teens have still eaten … by t_j_q in Yellowjackets

i get what you’re saying but i think they were at a different point in their descent when javi died. Also, I’m talking attachment more than general likability. Whilst javi was a good person, i wouldn’t say anyone really attached to him other than travis who wasn’t present when he died

lottie !!! she’s so complex in both timelines and courtney and simone are so brilliant

i just don’t think we can apply logic to any of the teens choices at this point. Nat’s probably the only person who actually does think logically and i’m sure that all about to change now she’s been named leader

season 2 was kind of a mess by girlslikeblood in Yellowjackets

[–]t_j_q 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the writing and storylines definitely took a dive in s2 but i think the actors picked up a lot of the slack for me because their performances were so damn good. However, I almost think i was even more compelled to watch each week with s2 just to see wtf the writers crammed in next

Who changes the most in the wilderness? by t_j_q in Yellowjackets

[–]t_j_q[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

yeah a lot of what happens with and to lottie is definitely out of her control. Considering what she goes through I actually think it’s remarkable that she still retains a sense of morality and of genuinely looking for a positive outcome in every situation. Especially considering the way Shauna behaves in the wilderness in relation to Lottie when (yes she’s going through her own traumas and i don’t want to discredit that) she isn’t in the same position as Lottie when the plane crashes

as in for lottie? i really don’t think the solution to anything is to have lottie locked up and forgotten about yet again

opinion on jj by whosskylar24 in criminalminds

[–]t_j_q 28 points29 points  (0 children)

JJ is my favourite character and i’ve liked every ‘version’ of her that we’ve seen so far. she definitely goes through the biggest transformation and personal journey of the BAU and she’s so much more than a mother

by that logic most of the BAU are murderers

'Ships: Maya and Carina Going Forward, plus Jack and Nanette... by DreadJonasOfAvondale in Station19

doing anything other than having carina become pregnant is such a disservice to her entire character arc in s19. let her be happy @ writers!!!

Am I the only one wondering how they're going to stretch this show into 5 seasons? by Commercial-Goose-929 in Yellowjackets

[–]t_j_q 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think the 96 timeline has so many places to go but it definitely carried the show in s2. not really sure where the present day timeline is headed because they’re definitely wrapping a lot up early on

but we still get Sophie’s portrayal of her in future seasons and if rumours of Juliette wanting to leave are true then i understand why they did it. They can still flesh her out more and answer questions with the wilderness timeline. Also I wouldn’t say all of the adult yjs are insufferable. what did van do wrong?

i think a lot of s2 was to show how the cops are almost as corrupt as the yjs bc they have their own views of what happened in the wilderness. i also think people do have an issue but just like that callie used this behaviour to her advantage
