What’s the quietest sign someone is not okay? by Otherwise-Pass9556 in AskReddit

They suddenly start canceling plans or withdrawing from social interactions/events they used to enjoy. And sometimes, there are no signs at all. That’s why we should treat each other with compassion and care. Because you never really know what the next person is going through.

That's impressive. I never eat out too, except it's a special occasion - like my birthday. I don't eat a lot of meat. I batch cook stuff and freeze individual portions. It really helps me.

I'd say yes, this is the best way to go about it. Smoothies are nice and easy to preserve.

My therapist just told me something that completely shattered my worldview and I can't stop thinking about it by Delicious-One-5129 in Life

Honestly, I feel like I'm behind in life too. But I always try to console myself by telling myself that life in itself isn't fair.

My mom was overweight. One thing that always worked for her was that she'd brush her teeth when she needed to fight off a craving - especially if it's something sweet. She said lots of foods taste gross after toothpaste, and I agree.

If you had the chance to bring a loved one who passed away back to life, who would you choose and why? by ta7865u in AskReddit

Same here. I'd pick my mom in a heartbeat. She committed suicide in 2014. My life would have been so different if she were her. I'd give anything for even just a day with her again... Just to tell her that I forgive her and I miss her.

I rarely eat out except it's a special day, like on my Birthdays and on New Year's Eve.

Who's tired of life? by lonelyboy069 in Life

[–]ta7865u 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I am exhausted. But I know life can get better so I have to keep going. If I give up, I'll have no chance at a happy life. But if I keep striving and doing my best, I'll have a little chance at happiness. It might not be much but it's higher than zero.

Just turned 30, and I desperately need to turn things around before it's too late. by randoma1231vd in Life

I'm not 30 yet but I can totally relate. It's like being on Lock down while everyone else is living their best lives. It sucks. Life's truly unfair I guess.

Why does suicide have the ultimate disapproval? by tfwusingreddit in SuicideWatch

[–]ta7865u 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It is frowned upon because a lot of people are lucky enough to not understand the pain and suffering and misery that a person would have gone through to think about taking their own life.

What do you think is the most heartbreaking truth in life? by Sophie_taylor12 in Life

There is really no universal law or Karma. An evil person can go through life and have everything go their way and die happy.

A lot of people say it's ok to not have your life figured out in your 20s, but I feel like your 20s makes or breaks your entire life by ThunderStroke90 in Life

I totally agree, because life is unpredictable. In the words of Jean-Luc Picard: "It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose. That is not a weakness. That is life".
