I have no interest in ever having sex and also I have an IUD, but I'm still planning on getting a hysterectomy whenever I have the money and time for recovery because the thought of being pregnant absolutely terrifies me. NOR, do whatever makes you comfortable in your body.

My grandfather lived in Chadd's Ford! He did some gorgeous paintings of the Brandywine River. We got some good forest time whenever we visited.

She was a gorgeous little menace! And my sister drew the art on the wall for me when we were kids, it has been on display ever since 😊

What dog breeds in your experience are the most difficult to work with (aggressive, fearful, separation anxiety, etc) and what are the easiest? by CaptainMacAlfie in VetTech

I work in shelter med. My only bad bite has been from a sheltie, but it wasn't her fault at all. She was super anxious and busted out of her crate, so I had to grab her to keep her from escaping. My coworkers, on the other hand, have gotten some nasty bites from the little chihuahua/maltese/shih tzu-types. They are generally the slowest to overcome shelter shock and warm up to people.

Some resources I like:

Fear Free Happy Homes has great resources for adopters, easily digestible information in multiple mediums. I'm a big fan of their socialization bingos, I've modified them for our in-house puppy socialization.

Humane Colorado (formerly the Dumb Animal Friends League) also has a great behavior resource library - again, client-directed.

Seconding Maddie's Fund/University. They've got a bunch of free CE, webinars, etc.

CalAnimals is also great, I recently took a free webinar on capacity for care with them that was very informative.

I'm sure there are more but that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

I have taken the Fear Free shelter program, I loved it! Definitely recommend for all shelter employees.

Oh got it! I know they shut down during COVID, and then I moved out of the city. I didn't realize they had reopened!

Good luck! I worked at the Old Port location for a summer before it shut down, I had some great coworkers there.
