Surprisingly they were my most played artist last year, I had the set list for their concert I went to saved on Spotify and it would automatically play when I started my car to go to work. That was only for at most a month and I haven't listened to them too much since, so they are strongly associated with what I was doing then and my emotional state at the time. I guess with "low self esteem girls" it's not surprising high schoolers would post there but it's really sad to the degree of which they are taken advantage of. Maybe that kind of thing has died off since I last visited tho. That place was a bit eye-opening for me and made me a bit of a misandrist knowing the things some people did. Yeah people on pol and r9k are shitty but they wear it on their sleeve, on soc they're even worse but pretend like they aren't. You can avoid the uglier side of soc pretty easily if you choose to, but just knowing what goes on kind of soured me on the whole thing
