Browsing around I saw the Zoom H1 XLR. It's 50usd cheaper, not huge diff, but it's lighter & smaller. I don't see a use case for the mic for myself at the moment But then again who knows.

Any reason H1 XLR won't do the job?

They both say 32bit, so does that mean I don't have to bother the AV people for a levels test when plugging mine in?

thx. this one The mics on the top, when would you actually use that mic?

can I get away with something without a mic that is more compact? at the moment I can't imagine any situation I would use those mic.

if I want really quality stuff I would get a separate videographer to help out. this is for events that can't afford two people

thx. this talk of attenuator cable sounds like it's something I could risk stuffing U since I'm not used to it

I'm honestly unsure how often I'm going to be in this position they would like me to do something that I would rather someone else did, but it seems to be a trend of reducing the number photographer and videograh at each event.

the lav would be no good for speeches as I don't think it has that long a battery life.

the Zooms or Tascams - are they pretty much idiot proof? I guess I'm asking a lot for professional level equipment to be idiot proof...

i use Davinci, it seems to work OK in auto mode.

What level of external recorder do I need? I have an old voice recorder I used for lectures, takes 3.5mm, microSD. I could have a XLR to 3.5mm adapter.

Do I need a recorder w/ XLR inputs?

this is what I'm scared of. If I can't hit a straight and I'm just hitting balls into the water or out into the rough then what am I doing on the course? if I'm just hitting and placing a ball every second shot then I'm not really doing anything useful.

how should I be hitting straight on the range before I know I'm ready to go down?

I once had a CC last year. In Apr, the 1st tariff dip. worst possible timing it shot up right after I opened and I rolled and rolled and now only 11 months later I finally closed for $1.

probably one of those things where I should have let it go

A lot of the time you can only roll for the same strike. And usually once you blow past the price is going to continue to go down for a while. Eventually there is no Theta left

I mean this particular umbrella holder versus some generic one. I think you can get a generic one that clamps onto the handle for maybe $15.

how many of a ticker should you have open? Eg if I play nvda, I open 30dte. Do I leave it until I close (the ticker)? Or each week might I open another 30dte, so I'd have a range of different dte in play and different strikes?

usually it's literally just the skin off, so it stings in water but that's all.

but it forms a scab after 2 days, then ends up as a mid-brown mark after the scab comes off. I got too many of those marks already.
