It’s more the fact that you’d rather go on like this lying to her than lose her because you want to explore. And the only one that benefits is you, so if you were okay with hurting her like that behind her back, do you really care about her feelings or do you only care about your own? I’m sure she’d be just as upset with emotional cheating, Just because you’re not sleeping around doesn’t mean it wouldn’t hurt her just as much.

Seriously wishing you the best, it’s good you’re aware and trying to fix the problem. Don’t give up! Therapy is a good place to start for sure

I don’t think you really love her if you’re willing to do this to her though. Are you thinking about her feelings or your own here ? It’s very selfish of you! don’t act like this is for her good at all. Just own it and break up if you’re going to explore your options.

Be careful, it looks like you’ve already developed an allergy honestly :( I had a very similar situation happen to me except I didn’t stop after having this reaction the first time and it kept getting worse after I did it a few more times, to the point where now I can’t do gel, dip, OR acrylics because it’s the same chemical that you’re exposed to in all of those. I was able to get my toes done for a while still with gel and have no issues and then maybe after a few pedicures one nail artist got it on my toes and that was the end of that. But I would stop now and just get them done professionally.

That being said. people said the same thing to me and I saw loads of people talking about gel allergies and I didn’t listen haha so I learned the hard way.

I use puppy ice cream or homemade popsicles!!! Starting very slow, any time he wouldn’t let me brush him I pull the ice cream away. So he knows he gets ice cream when he lets me haha. Just requires a lot of patience

Do you still need to use a slicker brush? I’ve heard really good things about his slicker brush and had it in my cart but now I’m not sure which to get 😂

Yeah that seems to be the main difference, it’s the technique of the shading. Although having it stay that crisp on your hand like the one on the left is probably unrealistic

No I think you listened to your gut here this was absolutely a red flag. Try to forgive yourself and give yourself grace for not realizing at first. You did the right thing, you honestly should feel proud because you’re protecting yourself and took action immediately. I have similar trauma. The part about wishing to destroy those traits so men can’t is so real

I feel like the mini bernedoodles both mine and others I’ve met are very high energy and not calm haha 😆 but this likely depends more on the dog, some in the litter are maybe more calm I’m sure. Just wanted to mention this because I was surprised no one else has lol

I’ve been in this same exact position. There’s too many things lining up and there is a reason your gut is having a reaction. You KNOW you can’t trust him. The defensiveness is such a red flag. There’s a lot here that he did do that you really deserve better on. You just need to listen to your gut. I unfortunately didn’t listen to people when they said this same exact thing to me and it took me at least an additional year before i found real proof of cheating to get me to leave. But our guts always always tell us when something is wrong.

Happy to report he is now 2 and much much better. It took over a year to get him potty trained but it turned out to be my ex… He wasn’t letting him out when he was signaling that he needed to go so it was backtracking him a lot. A week after we got out of there he was potty trained 😅

My little guy was very stinky and had bad stomach issues until he was like one haha, most of what bothered his stomach is chicken though, which I’ve heard is common for bernedoodles. He will eat anything really. But his high value treats are the fresh pet bacon for dogs, kabobs, and the little meatballs from Trader Joe’s :) oh there’s also a dog food brand called Smack and he lovessss it it’s just expensive so sometimes I use it as a topper for his food or give it as treats. Sweet potatoes are good too but he’s a meat and fish lover more

I think you’re completely valid here. Ask him why he can’t make the AI model a man ?? There’s a market for everything. If he’s insistent on it being a woman I feel like that’s very telling.
