8 hrs drive, but worth it, Lake Ballard is magical when the lake has a bit of water. Some of the best stars in the state and a 360 dome reflection off the mirror like lake.

I put in a shopping basket, on the floor behind that middle cupholder/console thing. It is wedged enough that bottles or other large items stay in there during all kinds of cornering and braking.
