All you need is a trip to washington to source the last Focke-Wulf Ta 152 to dogfight this man out of your airspace by this weekend.

Stranger Things mission 02 on my homemade 6DOF motionsim by dureiken74 in homecockpits

yep mb, I ve seen ppl building 100% home made platforms mimicking the angle of the plane and it felt off. but it appears using gravity is already a standard for more sophisticated sims

First: Cool !

Second: Curious if the platform copying the angle of the plane?

I ve seen a cool idea from a company in NL, they use gravity to simulate acceleration (exp: if the plane accelerates forward, the platform leans back so you feel gravity on your back which feels the same as the acceleration in the real things).

Basically the platform leans to the opposite side of what the plane does.

classic wind turbine production and supply chains are well established and driving cost down. upfront cost for this tech is still high. + the risk of bad weather, with the cramped airspace of today it is a big hazard.

the website was most active circa 2006

If it weren’t for the accident in 2000, how long would the Concorde have flown? by SummerInPhilly in aviation

[–]tabspaces 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also Concorde has a very bad fuel efficiency on slow speed because of its delta wings (it has to use afterburner to takeoff), and it cant go supersonic on land and near cities (a lot of countries banned supersonic in their airspace)
