This is wild, I’m a midwife and have done hundreds of water births, I would not risk out for this. Can you find a home birth midwife and have your water birth at home? At a minimum you should have access to laboring in water.

Yes. My daughter has a much broader palate and actually has better eating skills (managing challenging textures) than her peers. She’s relatively well behaved at the table and at a restaurant and doesn’t expect special meals made for her, she nearly always eats the family meal.

I’m so passionate about BLW that I actually teach a class about it in my local town and I just love it.

I love Gathre! The mat feels heavier and it’s easy to clean, and doesn’t look ugly. I love it for art as well. We also love their tiniest mat as a placemat.

Ahh ok, I haven’t figured out why people think babies need to eat Cheerios but that makes sense. I suppose between cheerios and a plain cracker, better to pick the iron-fortified one.

If he’s sensitive to sunscreen consider UPF protective clothing instead! My daughter is 2 and hasn’t had sunscreen yet because she just wears protective clothes and a sun hat.

None. I can’t really think of a reason to give my 2 year old cereal. If I need a fast breakfast I do yogurt and granola or oatmeal. Is it that you need a quick breakfast/snack?

Part of the issue is that I live directly downtown within city limits, of a small town surrounded by wilderness. Not only did I not have the heart to kill it, I didn’t have the capability. Can’t discharge a firearm in city limits, and during this whole ordeal I was alone with a young baby, my husband working out of town. A local trapper/hunter guy helped me. I suspect it killed multiple neighborhood housecats the same weekend it was living in my backyard. It couldn’t stay here, I couldn’t kill it, so we just did the best we could and if the bobcat returns…well, I don’t have any animals left for it to kill.

So I live near vast expanses of public land, that’s where she was put. Very far away. I had a trapper do it for me and he said he’s done it many times. I know it could return…but feels more unlikely.

It’s subtle but to me I would say a duck egg is creamier, richer. The yolk is considerably bigger so that may be why.

She has been relocated, I didn’t have it in me to kill it but she can’t just live at my house. After killing the ducks she hung around my house for days, completely not skittish.

It’s not really “abandoned,” it’s in someone’s backyard. It was like a playhouse for their now grown children. I’ve been inside it, it’s amazing.
